The Eternal Optimist Party (EOP) are rapidly rising stars on the Calgary music scene. Propelled by the creative songwriting of Sally Titasey (Acoustic Guitar, Bass, vocals) and Rob Hay (Acoustic guitar, Bass vocals), the EOP presents a diverse collection of musical flavours ranging from soul & gospel to rock & funk, and a bit of old country & folk just for good measure.

Fleeting Life, a six song EP produced entirely by the band was released in September and has sold well at their live shows and at discerning record stores in Calgary including Megatunes and Sloth Records. On the heels of their release, the band has opened for touring acts in Calgary including a spot with the Lost Fingers, a fantastic Quebec based gypsy jazz outfit. They are also working to finish a full length LP that will be due out early in the new year.

Rob & Sally also host the jam every Thursday at the Dog & Duck Public House in Calgary, so if you want to meet the band and hang out come on down and play some music!
